Prince Edward Island International Shellfish Festival Historic Charlottetown Waterfront, PEI, Canada September 15 - 17, 2006 The Prince Edward Island International Shellfish Festival began in 1996 and has grown into one of the largest festivals in Atlantic Canada. The Festival takes place annually the third weekend in September.
